About Me

I am a woman of many passions and titles. Currently, I am a lawyer, personal development coach, mental wellness advocate, and author.

In 2011, I graduated from North Carolina Central University School of Law and was admitted to practice law in New York State shortly after. Experiences in my personal life, and in the lives of others around me, led to my work as a mental wellness advocate. I grew more vocal about depression, self-harming behavior, and suicide prevention efforts. I launched a mental health initiative to raise awareness to silent suffering within the black community, called the I Love My Sufferer In Silence (SIS) project. It has since expanded into a peer-support group in Brooklyn, New York. In 2017, I returned to graduate school to pursue a masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University.

I am passionate about using my personal, professional, and academic experience to deeply impact others. As a personal development coach, I help people become better. I empower people to build a healthy mindset and discover themselves. I create solutions to many life’s challenges. I support, encourage, and motivate others to set goals and action plans to succeed. I develop entrepreneurs, teaching them how to monetize their passions, strengths, and talents, as well as how to protect their business legally.

More than anything else, I enjoy raising my beautiful daughter, Hayleigh! Although single parenting has its challenges, I am happy to be her role model. I look forward to being a part of her personal growth and development daily!
